Independence Rock - India's biggest Rock Music Festival and Band Talent Hunt is back and in its 25th year, accomplishing a landmark!

As Independence Rock enters its 25th year, it aims at taking the promise of promoting independent musicians, artists and bands to a greater height. Today, Independence Rock is attempting to take these talented individuals and groups to a global arena and give them an opportunity to match their virtuosity and stand their own on an international level.

Following the Nation-Wide Eliminations, and the National Finale, the winner of Independence Rock National Finale will have the chance to compete in the Independence Rock Global Finale with bands who have won the biggest Battle of the Bands competitions in 6 regions from all over the world - Canada, USA, UK, Europe, Asia and Australia.

Independence Rock rests not in the gratification it has received in the knowledge of the success of independent musicians and artists it has promoted for years; against the opposition it has faced by the mainstream marauders. Today, Independence Rock is attempting to take these talented individuals and groups to a global arena and give them an opportunity to match their virtuosity and stand their own on an international level. A global face off that will pit the Indian talent against the international artists & musicians who have proved their mettle, Independence Rock will continue to create opportunities for artists and give them a ground to be recognized for their exceptional talent.

MTV Iggy has chosen Independence Rock as No. 9 on the list of Top 10 Music Festivals Around the World to check out in 2010, featuring alongside music festivals like Coachella and the Roskilde Festival.
