MTV & VH1 Presents MTS RED ENERGY Independence Rock XXVI.

Here’s the drill – follow the instructions on the website – they are very simple, self explanatory and easy to follow.

 

Items that you will upload as a part of your registration:

1.      ONE ORIGINAL SONG

2.      SHORT BIO

3.      ONE BAND PHOTOGRAPH

 

PLEASE READ THE TERMS & CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE CLICKING AGREE!

 

Registrations will be open till the 1^st of NOVEMBER – but why not get an early start TODAY.

After Registrations close, the bands’ songs will be reviewed by a panel of judges appointed by E18.

 

8 Bands will be chosen in each city to perform over a period of 2 days. At the end of the 2^nd day, the judges will decide one winner based on each score card.

Winners will be intimated via telephone, Facebook and the website and given further instructions.

 

Each city winner (5 bands) will then be brought to Mumbai to compete at the All-India Final on the 26^th of November (Saturday). The winner will be crowned at the end of the National Final and will get the opportunity to Open the Grand Finale gig in Mumbai the following day (November 27^th). The other city winners will fly back to their respective cities and open the concerts there.

 

Each band will also have the awesome opportunity to Register for the MTS Red Energy Wild Card Entry. This slot can be won by any of the bands that register. All they would have to do is create a social medium via the registration website (Facebook/Twitter handle) and promote it as much as possible. The activity on these pages, which is being labeled “Red Energy” will be calculated based on their social/digital activity, the number of interactions they have on these mediums, and most importantly, the number of fans (read: LIKES) they can gather. Of the top 10 bands with the most “red energy”, 1 band will be chosen as the Wildcard. This band will get that unique opportunity to circumvent all the auditions and secure a place at the All - India Final in Mumbai. (See Registration Website for More Details)

 

The Grand Finale Concerts on the 27^th of November (Sunday) will be broadcast LIVE on MTV & VH1.
